While working as an R.N., I represented nurse's union members at the local level and worked on national issues. I was intrigued with the work of the union attorneys.

With over 20 years dedicated to law, Gallagher brings a wealth of knowledge to her industry, and, in particular to her area of specialization, family law. Based in the Twin-Cities Metro area, her practice encompasses a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, adoptions, child support, spousal maintenance, and many other issues.
Before beginning her law career in 1993, Gallagher worked as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency and as Helicopter Rescue Flight Nurse. When asked why she decided to transition a career in law, she said:
"While working as an R.N., I represented nurse’s union members at the local level and worked on national issues. I was intrigued with the work of the union attorneys. One of the attorneys suggested that I would make a good attorney and suggested that I pursue a law degree."
Today, Gallagher is known both for her formidable litigation skills and her work in alternative dispute resolution. As the founder of her own firm, Gallagher Law Office, L.L.C., she works diligently with each client to find creative solutions to their legal problems whether that entails going to court or sitting down at the mediation table.
Gallagher serves as an evaluator in social and financial matters helping parties reach an early resolution, and works as a parenting consultant and parenting time expeditor.
