Randall B. Gold, Attorney at Law | Fox & Fox, S.C.

With over 30 years dedicated to law, Mr. Gold brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry and, in particular, to his areas of specialization, the fields of employment discrimination, commercial, retaliation, and false claims litigation. When asked about his decision to pursue a career in law, Mr. Gold said:

"I was always interested in helping people and come from a long line of lawyers. My grandfather was an assistant attorney general for the state of New York, and his brother and sister were also attorneys. My grandmother’s brother was also a lawyer. So you could say it’s in my blood."

Today, Mr. Gold concentrates his practice on discrimination, civil litigation, and cases generally involving aggrieved employees. Notably, he won a Title VII jury verdict of $1.1 million in damages, as well as reinstatement for his client with full back pay and interest, and a record legal fee award, following the unlawful termination of a local Madison area college professor by the dean in retaliation after raising concerns of religious discrimination. Mr. Gold’s other cases include a $1 million recovery for female restaurant employees claiming sexual harassment and retaliation; a $1.45 million recovery for a Chicago pedestrian injured by a negligent motorist, and a recent 2016 trial court verdict in Cook County, IL, of $1.4 million for civil fraud and punitive damages against a defendant in connection with his scheme to secure auto loan funding through phony car titles.

As a thought-leader in his field, Mr. Gold pays careful attention to ongoing trends and developments in the ever-changing field of employment law and litigation. Lately, he is focused on potential changes to employee's rights brought on by the new presidential administration:

"We're paying special attention to numerous proposed changes by the Trump administration that may inevitably affect the rights of employees across the nation, particularly his executive orders that are directed toward the NLRB, and possibly other federal agencies affecting workers' rights."
