With high demand and low inventory, sellers are truly in a place to set the price. It concerns me a little bit because I believe this trend may be pushing the limits on pricing, and I do not want to end up where we were before the recession. It is important for me as a Realtor to keep myself, as well as my clients, apprised of this so that they can stay ahead of the market.

With 15 years dedicated to real estate, Carta brings a wealth of knowledge to her industry, and, in particular, to her area of expertise, residential property throughout Idaho’s Treasure Valley. Before becoming a Realtor, she spent 30 years working in the hotel management business. When asked why she transitioned to real estate after her company downsized, Carta said:

"Our company took over hotels that were in need of remodels and fresh marketing. It was my job to move to the hotel's location to make the changes successful. Each time I relocated, I would purchase a home and then eventually sell it. When I was laid off, some of my very good friends encouraged me to get my real estate license because of my prior experience with buying and selling properties.”

As a thought leader in her field, Carta stays on top of trends that are affecting the Treasure Valley real estate market. Commenting on one development, in particular, she noted that she is concerned with the current seller’s market:

"With high demand and low inventory, sellers are truly in a place to set the price. It concerns me a little bit because I believe this trend may be pushing the limits on pricing, and I do not want to end up where we were before the recession. It is important for me as a Realtor to keep myself, as well as my clients, apprised of this so that they can stay ahead of the market.”

Beyond her thriving business, Carta donates her time to several local charities, including the Idaho Foodbank, the Boise Rescue Mission, the Idaho Youth Ranch, the St. Luke's Cancer Center, and the Mountain States Tumor Institute. She also enjoys cooking, reading, crafts, and being outdoors with her family.
