Noticed celebrates its newest member, REALTOR® Louise Zemina

Louise Zemina, REALTOR®, Berkshire Hathaway Home Sales New England Properties, has joined Noticed©, an invitation-only service for distinguished professionals. Zemina has been chosen as a Distinguished Real Estate Professional™ based on peer reviews and ratings, dozens of recognitions, and accomplishments achieved throughout her career.

Zemina outshines others in her field due to her educational background, numerous awards and recognitions, and career longevity. She began working for McLaughlin Real Estate in 1984. She went on to acquire her Broker’s License as well as her Accredited Buyer’s Representative and Graduate, REALTOR® Institute designations. In 2015, Zemina joined Berkshire Hathaway Home Sales New England Properties.

Not only is the potential for a rate hike an indicator that the economy is doing really well, but it is sensible for buyers to want to get their loans locked down before the rise.

With over 30 years dedicated to real estate, Zemina brings a wealth of knowledge to her industry, and, in particular, to her area of expertise, the real estate market of New Haven County. When asked why she decided to pursue a career in real estate, Zemina said:

"My neighbor was an office manager for the broker I first worked with. She knew that I was a people person and thought that I would do well in a career where I was front and center helping customers.”

Over the years, Zemina has distinguished herself from her peers through her dedication to quality and professional client service. Understanding that a real estate transaction is one of the biggest decisions in someone's life, she always goes above and beyond to help buyers and sellers reach their goals.

As a thought leader in her field and a resident of Wallingford, Zemina is extremely knowledgeable about the New Haven County market, an asset she uses to each client's advantage. When asked about developing trends in her area, she commented on rising interest rates:

"Typically, in winter we see a slowdown in market activity, but this year has been unseasonably steady. I think it has to do with interest rates. Not only is the potential for a rate hike an indicator that the economy is doing really well, but it is sensible for buyers to want to get their loans locked down before the rise.”

Zemina has been recognized with the Five Star Real Estate Agent Award by Connecticut Magazine for eight years running. She is active with the Connecticut Association of REALTORS® and the Greater New Haven Middlesex Board of REALTORS®, the latter of which presented her with the 2006 REALTOR® of the year award. She is also involved in her local community, having been a ten-year board member of the Ulbrich Boys and Girls Club and a supporter of the Sunshine Kids Foundation, among other organizations.
