Lorie Farley Has Been Recognized Among the Top in Her Industry by Noticed©

Noticed celebrates its newest member, REALTOR® Lorie Farley

Lorie Farley, REALTOR®, View Point Realty Services Inc., has joined Noticed©, an invitation-only service for distinguished professionals. Farley has been chosen as a Distinguished Real Estate Professional™ based on peer reviews and ratings, dozens of recognitions, and accomplishments achieved throughout her career.

Farley outshines others in her field due to her professional background, dedicated client care, and superior negotiation skills. Farley began her professional life as the Executive Vice President, and then President and Chief Operating Officer, of an animal care products company. With a background spanning more than thirty years of marketing and complex multi-interest negotiation, today Farley uses these hard-earned skills to benefit both buyers and sellers of homes and properties in her region.

I really think the most important thing is to listen to the needs of the buyers or the sellers and be an advocate for them. You have to really know what's going on and be their problem solver. The intersection of where their interests meet—that's where the sale happens. So you're really problem-solving on both sides, acting as the negotiator and mediator, and just making sure everyone is happy and feels confident in the transaction.

Recently featured in Top Agent Magazine, Farley brings a wealth of knowledge to her industry, and, in particular, to her area of expertise, residential and country real estate in the Annapolis Valley and Bay of Fundy. When asked about the start of her career, Farley noted that the tenacity she developed in the business world is what enabled her seamless transition to real estate:

"When my husband and I fell in love with the Annapolis Valley and decided to move here, I immediately threw myself into real estate. Starting my career here, I really had to think outside the box. I had to be self-confident and self-motivated: to be my own boss. Fortunately, my upbringing and background running a business made that pretty natural for me, and here I am today!”

As a thought leader in her field, Farley keeps both her buyers and sellers apprised of market changes with monthly reports on all sales and listings that are pertinent to their property or home search or sale. She encourages her clients to “make the market work for them; list wisely, work hard and sell fast.” She notes that “no one wants to be listed for several months and chase the market down. Happy sellers sell quickly and at market value.” At the end of the day, Farley’s loyalty lies with her clients and doing what it takes to make them happy. She explains:

"I really think the most important thing is to listen to the needs of the buyers or the sellers and be an advocate for them. You have to really know what’s going on and be their problem solver. The intersection of where their interests meet—that’s where the sale happens. So you're really problem-solving on both sides, acting as the negotiator and mediator, and just making sure everyone is happy and feels confident in the transaction.”
