Ms. Hudson has been chosen as a Distinguished Lawyer based on peer reviews and ratings, dozens of recognitions, and accomplishments achieved throughout her career.
Ms. Hudson outshines others in her field due to her extensive educational background, awards and recognitions, and career longevity. She obtained her B.A. in International Politics and Economics from George Washington University and her Juris Doctorate from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1988. Ms. Hudson's compassionate legal representation has earned her the Palm Beach County Legal Aid Society's Pro Bono Award.
People join as couples for lots of different reasons: companionship, financial stability, religious, and many other reasons. Being responsible as a couple means talking about the big "M"—Money. If a partner cannot discuss the financial side of things, then the relationship isn't going to survive. Unfortunately, there is a stigma around discussing those issues. I'm a big proponent of prenuptial agreements. If you can't talk about finances going into a relationship, then you certainly aren't going to be able to talk about them coming out.

With over 25 years of experience dedicated to law, Ms. Hudson brings a wealth of knowledge to her industry, and, in particular, to her area of specialization, family law. When asked why she decided to pursue a career in law, Ms. Hudson noted that she discovered her interest in law at an early age:
"I got a job in the summer during high school at a local law firm. One of the partners took an interest in me; his paralegal had just retired, so he taught me the practical side of the law."
As a thought-leader in her field, Ms. Hudson hopes to share the benefit of her hard-won wisdom with a wider audience. In the near future, she plans to write a book that approaches marriage on both a legal and personal level. Discussing one of the major lessons she has learned during nearly three decades in practice, she notes:
"People join as couples for lots of different reasons: companionship, financial stability, religious, and many other reasons. Being responsible as a couple means talking about the big "M"—Money. If a partner cannot discuss the financial side of things, then the relationship isn’t going to survive. Unfortunately, there is a stigma around discussing those issues. I’m a big proponent of prenuptial agreements. If you can’t talk about finances going into a relationship, then you certainly aren’t going to be able to talk about them coming out."
In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Hudson is an active member of the Florida Bar and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. She also supports The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Young Friends of the Palm Beach Opera, the American Cancer Society, Big Cat Rescue, and the Palm Beach chapter of Impact100, an organization dedicated to finding local nonprofits in need of funding to help create an impact on in the community.
