He received his undergraduate degree in 2004 and medical degree in 2008 from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He completed a residency in pediatric medicine at New York University Medical Center in New York City. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

A dedicated physician, Dr. Baker​ brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and in particular, to his area of expertise, pediatrics. When asked why he decided to pursue a career in medicine, Dr. Baker​ said:

"I grew up alongside my father, a high risk pediatrician and I looked at being a physician as a great way to impact, affect, and provide for as many people as possible."

As a thought-leader in his field, Dr. Baker has received numerous awards and recognitions over the course of his career. He received the Award of Excellence during his residency and was named the Inpatient Resident of the Year in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011, he was named one of NJ Favorite Kids' Docs by New Jersey Family each year from 2010 to 2015, and he received the Patients' Choice Award each year from 2010 to 2015. He was also named one of the Top 10 Pediatrician in state of NJ by Rate MD, and is one of Health Grades' top rated Pediatricians.

Dedicated to his practice and his patients, Dr. Baker envisions continuing his precocious success. In the coming years he looks forward to growing the size and scope of Riverside. He noted

Dr. Baker currently serves as the Director of Clinical Practices & Quality Control at Riverside Pediatric and Medical Group in Jersey City, NJ. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University, College of Physicians & Surgeons.
