He earned his medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE in 1974 and then went on to complete a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Barnes Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He later returned to Omaha to begin his medical practice, during which time he also taught as an Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine.

With over 40 years dedicated to medicine, Dr. Bennett brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and in particular, to his areas of expertise, Obstetrics and Gynecology. When asked why he decided to pursue a career in medicine, Dr. Bennett said:

Dr. Bennett moved to Vista, CA in the early 1990s to continue his medical practice with the Cassidy Medical Group. As Chairman of the OB/GYN department, he has cultivated one of the top practices in the field in Southern California, dedicated to providing patients with individualized, personal and compassionate care to each patient.
Dr. Bennett is a member of the San Diego County Medical Society, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he also serves on their faculty.
