"I mostly do clinical work because that's how I feel I can make the biggest difference in the lives of children. There are so many new approaches and new answers for some of the rare lung diseases. I am currently developing a growing interest in primary ciliary dyskinesia and new advances in diagnostic and therapeutic approaches related to this inherited disease."

With 16 years dedicated to medicine, Dr. Lee brings a wealth of knowledge to her industry and, in particular, to her area of expertise, Pediatric Pulmonology. When asked why she decided to pursue a career in medicine, Dr. Lee said:
"I have wanted to be a children’s doctor since I was in high school. I can’t recall exactly what the ‘aha’ moment was, but working with children was always something that I knew I wanted to do. I wanted to work in a field where I would be able to make a difference in young people's lives and feel rewarded as a result. I was focused on becoming a pediatrician and I never got distracted."
As a thought-leader in her industry, Dr. Lee keeps her finger on the pulse of prevailing trends in Pediatric Pulmonology. Focusing mostly on clinical work, she has been following the progress of new treatments and diagnostic techniques for a variety of rare lung diseases, with a special interest in the use of bronchoscopy as part of respiratory management.
