Believe it or not, it wasn’t until that very night that I realized just how important I was to my family, and I decided it was time for a change in my career. I had already begun attending law school at night, but that event accelerated my desire to finish law school, and become an attorney. It was important that I continue to be there for my boys, so I knew I needed to do something different. With my background in law enforcement over the previous decade, a career as an attorney seemed like the perfect fit.”
